Ibbetson Real Estate Advisors is managed by Gregory Ibbetson, Principal and Founder. Greg has expertise at every level and within every discipline of real estate. His career started in 1973, as part of the maintenance crew of Union Development Company of Cerritos, California. In this position he learned the skills of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, paving, and landscaping while servicing dozens of properties owned by Union. After earning a degree in Economics he was promoted to the property managers’ position where he managed shopping centers, multi-tenant industrial parks, apartments, office buildings and mini-storage facilities. After 25 years in this position he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer.As CFO he was responsible for the design and |

implementation of the company’s budget, negotiation of all credit issues, setting financial goals for all departments, approving leases, and all accounting functions. He worked in that capacity until December 2005, after successfully managing the sale of the 110 year old business to an investor. |
